Hello Nashville!

Thanks for checking out my page!  My name is Dave Myers. I work mostly weekends at 103 WKDF.  I also fill in from time to time when some of the weekday folks take a little time off.  I have dreamed of doing Nashville Country radio pretty much all of my life, so being here is truly a dream come true!!

You might recognize me from the CMT Television Show "The Singing Bee".  I had the opportunity to fly out to CA and be contestant on the show. If you ever get the chance to be on a game show, I would HIGHLY recommend it!  It was a lot of fun.  If you would like to check out the episode, here is the link-

Here is a little more about me. 

Where I'm From:  Laurinburg NC. It's a small rural town in south eastern NC. It is about 20 miles outside of Rockingham (If you are a NASCAR fan, then you know where that is!).  I moved to the beach and lived in Wilmington NC for about 6 years before making the big move to Nashville.  I'm am an only child and the first person in intermidiate family to move so far from home. Some back home probably think I'm crazy, but I'm just following a dream.

Favorite Food:  Pizza, Fried Chicken, and my Mom's Chicken and Dumplins.  Honestly, I love pretty much anything that is completely unhealthy and bad for me. But I am trying to eat better and am branching out and trying to eat healthier.... It's just so danged hard!

 Favorite Sports Teams:  UNC Tar Heels, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Braves, The Preds (Still don’t fully understand the game of hockey..but  it’s fun to watch live!!), and ANYONE playing against Duke University.
